Chris Walters is Chief Executive Officer at TSC Inspection Systems Ltd, a company specialising in advanced non-destructive testing technology, with applications primarily in the marine and offshore oil & gas sectors.

A Chartered Engineer and Naval Architect, Chris held senior positions over a 12 year period with the Lloyd’s Register Group, where he was the Director of Marine Operations and Senior Vice President of Oil & Gas Certification and gained extensive international business experience. Prior to joining Lloyd’s Register, Chris spent 10 years in the P&O Group, where he became General Manager of Three Quays Marine Services Ltd, a group subsidiary involved in ship design and construction.

Chris joined the RNLI in 2012 as a member of the Technical Committee. He was elected to the RNLI Council, appointed a trustee, and became chair of the Technical Committee in May 2015.

He lives in Farnham, Surrey with his wife Penny and two sons.
