Dunbar Lifeboat Station

Established in 1808, Dunbar Lifeboat Station is located on the south side of the mouth of the Firth Of Forth, approximately 30 miles east of Edinburgh. The crews have been honoured with 12 awards for gallantry.

Dunbar RNLI assist dog walkers caught out by high tide
Dunbar ILB races through rough conditions to locate casualty. Blue skies overhead and excellent visibility. The azure blue sea is rough and capped with many white horses. The bright orange boat with it's bow risen in the surf travels from right to left and is followed by a heavy wake that is broken by the strong wind creating a lot of spray. 4 crew members are visible on board.

Dunbar RNLI launch to investigate unmanned dinghy drifting near the harbour
On 15 June, the volunteers of Dunbar RNLI launched to the dinghy. It was found the dinghy had been left by the harbour for repairs but had come adrift. The crew returned it to the harbour.
