Beaumaris Inshore Lifeboat

The Beaumaris Inshore Atlantic 85 Lifeboat Annette Mary Liddington was launched at 12.25 pm and made her way to Puffin Island to assist a 21 foot speedboat with engine failure.

When the lifeboat arrived the crew ensured that the six persons aboard which including children needed no medical assistance.

The lifeboat then proceeded to tow the casualty vessel to Gallows Point near Beaumaris so that the boat could be brought ashore.

Once this task was completed at 1.35 pm the lifeboat then commenced her delayed exercise.

In the meantime a presentation of a donation of £1010 was made to the Operations Manager of Beaumaris Lifeboat by the East Cheshire Sub-Aqua Club (See separate news release for more details).
