The casualty vessel with three persons onboard was close to the Rhosson rock.

First to arrive on scene were the passenger vessels Gower Ranger and Viking Voyager.

Gower Ranger secured a line to the casualty and held in a safe position until the arrival of the lifeboat.

Once on scene the volunteer lifeboat crew took over, and secured a tow line to the casualty and commenced taking it under tow to the entrance of Porthclais harbour.

On arrival at the Porthclais entrance the tow was taken over by a pleasure vessel where it was taken safely into the harbour.

Once this was complete the lifeboat returned arriving back, for rehousing at 1.30pm.
