Rhyl RNLI Lifeboat Station needs your help

The volunteers at Rhyl RNLI Lifeboat Station are looking for help to raise £150,000 towards the new Shannon-class lifeboat for Rhyl.

You can help them reach this target by either placing a collection box in a shop, pub, restaurant, cafe, etc. or by volunteering as a fundraiser.

If you would like to place a collection box at your premises, or know someone who will please call 01745 330207 and leave a message with your name, location and contact number and one of the team will get back to you.

Rhyl Lifeboat Coxswain, Martin Jones says,‘It's fantastic to see the community getting involved with the RNLI and help raise funds for the new Shannon-class lifeboat for Rhyl. The support we have had so far has been overwhelming and we can't thank you all enough for your support.'

Key facts about the RNLI

The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts. The RNLI operates over 238 lifeboat stations in the UK and Ireland and more than 240 lifeguard units on beaches around the UK and Channel Islands. The RNLI is independent of Coastguard and government and depends on voluntary donations and legacies to maintain its rescue service. Since the RNLI was founded in 1824, its lifeboat crews and lifeguards have saved over 142,700 lives.
