Roger Couch, New Quay RNLI’s Lifeboat Operations Manager and Bernie Davies, Station Mechanic met with Brian Tomlins to receive the kind donation.

Bernie said, “We received a donation today from a gentleman called Brian Tomlins from Llanon. Brian lost his wife in November and asked for donations instead of flowers for his wife’s funeral on December 1st.

“The total raised was £300 which he divided between the cardiac ward at Bronglais Hospital, Air Ambulance Wales and New Quay Lifeboat Station. Brian has previously raised money for our station on his 75th birthday. We thank him greatly for his kindness and generosity.”
