St Ives RNLI Lifeboat Car Wash is great success
It was a beautiful day on Saturday 25th May and the St Ives community did not let us down. They came out in their droves to get their vehicles washed and buffed by the lifeboat crew, and also partake in some delicious baked goods provided by our amazing fundraising team.
Suzanne Tanner, Fundraising manager, said: 'It's wonderful to see that the community always dig deep for the lifeboat, and continue to support us in all of our fundraising activity - we cannot thank them enough.'
The whole event raised a fantastic amount that will continue to enable the lifeboat crew to respond when the calls come in. A total of £1,209 was raised from both the car washing and cake sale.
