Padstow RNLI lifeboat crew launch to a fishing vessel in difficulties

Lifeboats News Release

The Padstow lifeboat crew launched at 9.29am today (4 October 2019) to assist a 16m fishing vessel one mile north of The Mouls

The crew headed to the vessel in force 7 winds and 3m swells. Once on scene they established a tow line and towed the vessel safely into Padstow Harbour.


The volunteer crew returned to the lifeboat station at 11.50am.

The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts.
