Volunteers deserve recognition for the incredible contribution they make.
With a range of awards for volunteers including informal thank yous, Long Service awards and Excellence in Volunteering awards, we try to ensure both service and efforts are recognised.
Take a look at the headings below for more information, criteria and frequently asked questions.
Requests for long service awards has now closed. You will be able to submit your requests in May 2020 so please check back here then. If you have a query regarding a request you have previously submitted, please contact LSA@rnli.org.uk
Excellence in Volunteering Award Information
With our Excellence in Volunteering Awards, staff and volunteers can nominate fellow volunteers who they think deserve special recognition for going above and beyond what is expected of them.
Please let us know of any individual or groups who have gone the extra mile by clicking on the above nomination form.
To allow us to ensure we are providing the nominee with a fair award, we rely on the information given by the nominator. So the more facts, figures and information you provide the more accurate the result is in determining what recognition is appropriate. It is helpful to have specific examples of when the group/individual contributed more than what their role requires and what effect this had.
We aim to let you know the result of your nomination within 3 weeks.
